At this year’s TyrolSkills state apprenticeship competition for mechatronics and automation technology, STIHL Tirol once again demonstrated the effectiveness and practical relevance of its training programmes at the Langkampfen site: third-year apprentice Michael Sammer secured first place in the competition.
Held at WIFI Innsbruck, TyrolSkills is one of the state’s most prestigious competitions for young professionals, demanding a high level of technical knowledge, precision and problem-solving ability. Michael Sammer impressed with his expertise, accuracy and initiative – placing first among Tyrol’s best mechatronics engineers.
Second-year apprentices Louis Lehm and Patrick Gschwentner also delivered strong performances, finishing in the top tier in a competitive field of 41 participants – a testament to the high training standards at STIHL Tirol.
“The fact that Tyrol’s best mechatronics apprentice has come from our company for the second time speaks volumes about the consistency and quality of our training. This success is no coincidence – it is the result of dedicated apprentices, strong support, and a training approach that consistently combines theory and practice,” emphasises Richard Felix, Production Manager at STIHL Tirol.
With this latest state title and the strong overall placements, STIHL Tirol reaffirms its standing as a trusted training provider in the region, and as a company committed to practical qualifications and personal growth.
