STIHL Tirol supports the fire brigade and Volkshilfe Tirol

The garden equipment manufacturer and battery specialist STIHL Tirol, based in Langkampfen, recently continued its sponsorship efforts in the region with two new campaigns. STIHL Tirol has a long-standing and trusting relationship with the volunteer fire brigade in Unterlangkampfen. The fire brigade would be the first on site in an emergency situation and is of great importance to STIHL Tirol. For this reason, the company decided to support the purchase of a testing device urgently needed for regular PC-supported and certified testing of the fire brigade's respiratory protection masks and demand valves.

The Unterlangkampfen Fire Brigade works with fire protection officers on an ongoing basis to carry out mandatory fire inspections on the STIHL Tirol building, run regular fire drills on the company premises and perform checks to ensure the fire hydrants are in working order. Clemens Schaller, the managing director of STIHL Tirol, supports the sponsorship campaign: "The local fire brigade is a reassuring factor for us and a partner we can rely on. We greatly appreciate the energetic and friendly support of the local firefighters."

For many years, the garden equipment manufacturer has also been working with Volkshilfe Tirol. In 2022, the company decided to sponsor a lawn tractor for the social project "Volkshilfe Werkbank" (Volkshilfe Workbench) in the Austrian town of Wörgl. The STIHL machine is used in the field of "Green space management and garden maintenance" offered by the Werkbank. The expanded equipment pool now also gives Volkshilfe the opportunity to win new contracts for the maintenance of large areas.

The Volkshilfe Werkbank helps long-term job seekers find a temporary job and prepares them for re-entry into working life. Wolfgang Simmer, head of STIHL Tirol marketing and sales services, emphasises: "We are pleased that we can support the important work carried out by Volkshilfe and that our product can make gardening easier."
