STIHL Tirol is actively involved in supporting a variety of social and cultural projects in the local community. For example, the company supports disadvantaged children and young people, helps individuals with disabilities and promotes education and inclusion. At the same time, we are committed to strengthening the local cultural scene to foster community and diversity. Whether through long-term partnerships with social institutions or by supporting individual educational projects and events, STIHL Tirol embraces its role as an active member of society and takes pride in its social responsibility.
STIHL Tirol has collaborated with RollOn Austria, an association dedicated to supporting the interests and rights of people with disabilities, for seven years. STIHL Tirol provides support for the salary of a disabled RollOn employee and helps fund the association’s public relations work.
RollOn chairwoman Marianne Hengl says: “In recent years, we have fought hard for many things, such as job opportunities, the provision of aids and support for families. We are therefore very grateful for the support from strong partners like STIHL Tirol.”

Supporting cultural events in the Kufstein area is a key part of STIHL Tirol’s sponsorship strategy. Through this commitment, we aim to strengthen the local cultural scene and enhance the diversity of the district, while also offering our employees special and memorable experiences.
An additional part of our sponsorship programme is awarding free tickets for cultural events, which is possible thanks to partnerships with event organisers. These tickets are raffled off and shared with employees throughout the year as a gesture of appreciation that also brings joy to our team.
STIHL Tirol is a longstanding supporter of the “KlangFarben” event series at Kulturfabrik Kufstein. In 2024, we expanded this collaboration by backing a new concert series that will bring internationally acclaimed musicians to Kufstein. The 2025 line-up will feature artists from Cuba, the USA, Ethiopia, the Ivory Coast and Europe.
STIHL Tirol is actively committed to education and youth development. Through various projects such as these, we enrich the local educational infrastructure and reinforce our role as a socially responsible company.
An exciting new project is our partnership with the Kufstein Waldorf Education Association. The Waldorf philosophy emphasises a holistic education that promotes values such as self-confidence, social skills, creativity and perseverance.
Lessons are based around self-motivated learning and networked thinking to prepare students for future challenges. Thanks to this collaboration, we were able to offer a substantially discounted kindergarten place to the child of a STIHL Tirol employee for the first time.
The Private Petö School in Oberaudorf is committed to inclusion, providing an environment where children with and without disabilities learn together. In addition to academic instruction, the school offers internships, career guidance and diverse fields of learning.
A special highlight is the in-house beekeeping project, where children can experience the full wax cycle of a beekeeping operation and gain practical experience in how to mark queen bees.
STIHL Tirol sponsors the ride-on mower used to maintain the school’s lawns and also invited students on a factory tour of STIHL Tirol, which was fun and rewarding for all involved.
