Exercise is fundamental to health, well-being and sustained performance. To support employees effectively, STIHL Tirol offers a broad and structured company sports programme, delivered in cooperation with the Works Council.
The programme brings together a range of formats to address different needs. Team activities such as football and beach volleyball build fitness while fostering interaction beyond work. Targeted classes, including back fitness and yoga, focus on stability, flexibility and recovery, providing an effective counterbalance to repetitive strain. More dynamic formats such as Zumba and full-body workouts add variety and cater to different fitness levels. In addition, employees have access to a dedicated on-site gym for individual training.
The result is a deliberately diverse programme that supports a wide range of needs, from active workouts to targeted relief.
A holistic approach to health
Physical fitness is only one part of the picture. Mental well-being is equally important, which is why the programme is complemented by occupational psychology counselling.
This offers employees the opportunity to seek professional support in challenging situations, whether related to stress, work demands or personal resilience. The aim is a comprehensive approach to health that goes beyond the purely physical.
A benefit with substance
At STIHL Tirol, company sports and health initiatives are not an add-on. They are an integral part of a modern work culture, helping to create an environment that supports the long-term health, productivity and motivation of employees.
