How STIHL Tirol employees improve everyday work

A workplace where employees not only collaborate but also contribute ideas and shape the company – this is the concept behind IDEEPLUS, the idea management system at STIHL Tirol.

In 2024, employees submitted more than 800 suggestions for improvement, ranging from minor optimisations to solutions with a measurable impact on daily production.

IDEEPLUS highlights what is often overlooked in day-to-day business: the best ideas frequently come from the teams themselves. Anyone working with systems, processes or internal tools on a daily basis quickly recognises where improvements are needed. IDEEPLUS gives every employee a straightforward way to submit these suggestions.

Involvement, not observation

What’s special about IDEEPLUS is not just the openness to new ideas, but also the attitude behind it: everyone’s contributions are taken seriously. Suggestions are reviewed as promptly as possible and, if approved, they are implemented. Employees therefore experience first-hand that their input is valued – strengthening both motivation and team spirit.

Good ideas are rewarded

The greater the benefit of an idea, the higher the bonus. A tiered reward model ensures that suggestions with significant added value are recognised accordingly. This means that employees directly share in the progress they help create.

Ideas make the difference

IDEEPLUS shows how much is possible in a work environment that values participation. It creates space for responsibility, creativity and solution-oriented thinking – qualities that STIHL Tirol, as a cutting-edge employer, actively fosters.
