On 19 May 2022, STIHL Tirol held its annual press conference at its site in Langkampfen on the company's performance the previous year. The company's successful economic development continued in 2021 and turnover increased by 24 percent to 715.8 million euros. The number of employees rose by almost 10 percent from 702 to 770.
An important factor behind the increase in turnover was the high demand for lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other STIHL Tirol gardening tools, especially in the cordless segment. As in the previous year, many people spent more time at home due to contact and travel restrictions and invested more in their own house and garden.
The STIHL Tirol team needs to expand in order to support further growth. We are currently looking for motivated applicants, especially in the areas of plastics manufacturing, production, purchasing and product development. STIHL Tirol offers a wide range of different working time models, a voluntary travel allowance and a company pension scheme.
The press release contains all the details on the 2021 financial year.
